Located in the heart of Amish Country in historic Lancaster County, this bed and breakfast is housed in a mansion that was built in 1845 by Captain William Fassitt as a place to host lavish parties and entertain guests. Today guests still arrive to enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding farmlands or to take the short drive to all of the attractions, shopping and dining options that Lancaster County has to offer. We are also close to Philadelphia and the Brandywine River Valley - home to the lovely Longwood Gardens.
Each of our five carefully decorated rooms offer cable television, WIFI, ihomes, Comphy Co. sheets for each bed and private bathrooms. For an added experience, choose one of our guestrooms with a fireplace.
Each morning awaken to a full country breakfast prepared with as much locally or home grown meat, vegetables and fruit that are available. And the eggs we serve are from free range chickens. Enjoy extra special items from our Amish heritage such as homemade breads, peanut butter spread, Smearkase and homemade Shoofly pie for dessert. Your coffee will be prepared using fresh ground coffee beans for each individual cup pressed from our Swiss-made Jura Capresso coffee machine. Coffee and hot tea are available all day. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or request at the time of your reservation. We are happy to accommodate and make your stay most enjoyable.
With our surrounding two acres of grounds, The Stoltzfus Bed & Breakfast is the perfect setting for country weddings, reunions, quilting weekends or simply to escape.
