The Ephrata Cloister is a national historic landmark founded in 1732. German religious community. Unique architecture - early music - printing - fraktur - exhibits - special events - tours - orientation - video - landscaped setting - free parking. Additionally available: Picnic facilities, wedding ceremonies (indoor and outdoor), wheelchair rental.

We offer a central location for weddings, vow renewal ceremonies, community events and family gatherings, to cities such as Harrisburg, Lancaster and Reading, and a refreshing, tranquil atmosphere where visitors are immersed in history and the beauty of the grounds. Weddings can be held outdoors in the Amphitheater or in the historic 1741 Meeting House.

At present, the Ephrata Cloister does not have the ability to hold wedding receptions; however, picnic grounds are available at the historic site for family gatherings and other events.

Closed: Mondays in January and February
